The women at Made By Hand just finished their first project–knitting hats for Cancer patients. Through word of mouth, we collected 125 hats that were donated to the The Mollie Wilmot Radiation Oncology Center in Saratoga, New York; Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, NY; and Samaritan Hospital in Troy, New York. Whatever we do next year, we plan to advertise more heavily.
Not only did we received hats locally, but we received hats from Vermont, Indiana, and Montana.
