I received a call at work one day from a lovely woman who works at the same college as I. I believe I mentioned it before. A few weeks after we started this project I decided to spam faculty and staff at the college to see if anyone wanted to help. The response was enormously positive. It made me feel like I was doing a good thing, which is not a feeling I get to experience often. I mean, people, I have to stop and wonder if it would be a bad thing to stop for a hot dog while riding in the family limo at the front of a funeral. I know it’s wrong because everyone else would be forced to follow and you shouldn’t be thinking about food at a time like that. But I had to think about it.
