This is the start of an exciting endeavor. A small group of knitters with a big idea–to get homemade hats donated for chemo patients. Our group is too small to adequately knit hats ourselves and feel happy with our donation haul. So we’re looking to expand our focus and have friends, family, coworkers, and random strangers knit or crochet a hat for a chemo patient. We’re still working out the details so check back for more info!

I happened to find your project for chemo caps, and I’ll be very pleased to send one or two your way. I’ve been knitting infant caps for my local hospital, and socks for children. I’m sure I can find enough yarn and time to knit an adult sized cap before the end of September. Good luck on your project!
